The Climate Crisis

Touching every aspect of our present and future, how we respond to the climate crisis this decade will shape our planet and humanity for the next millennia.

The Climate Hub (CIC)

A not for profit social enterprise dedicated to creating welcoming collaborative spaces that engage, educate, and empower communities to respond to the climate crisis.

The Climate Hub: Plymouth

Opening soon - our flagship Climate Hub in the old Waterstones building (New George St) will be one of the first city centre Climate Hubs in the world.

CREATING
A WELCOMING COLLABORATIVE
SPACE
FOR EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY...

TO ENGAGE: The Climate Hub will organise and host activities and exhibitions to engage people of as many different backgrounds as possible, with events, workshops, exhibitions, talks, people’s assemblies and, of course, a zero waste shop and vegan café!

TO EDUCATE: The Climate Hub will provide a range of trustworthy, evidence-based knowledge and accessible resources that can support people, organisations and communities to develop their understanding of the climate crisis.

TO EMPOWER: The Climate Hub will create and share opportunities to take meaningful and tangible action to address the climate crisis, from reducing emissions and energy use, to transitioning to a circular economy.

MAKING USE OF A VACANT HIGH STREE STORE

MAKING USE
OF A VACANT HIGH STREET STORE

The Climate Crisis will soon be at the centre of everything in our society, so we’re bringing climate solutions to the centre of our community.

The Climate Hub has full use of three beautiful floors at our high street venue for at least 6 months in order to empower people and organisations.

We need your help to demonstrate the community benefit of this project so that we can turn The Climate Hub into a permanent feature of the city centre.
